Holiday Moon
You proposed when the holiday moon
Touched the ground
Diamond ring in blushing pink
Paper cracker
It leapt forth like a shooting star
Caught on the curvature of my silver
Earring and dangled
Waterdrop in suspension.
We are drinking eggnog
Frothy, laced with delicate
Dusk of nutmeg. After I said yes
You say all you taste is me
Crystal and woodsmoke kind of gal.
