3 Haiku Published at Whispers and Echoes Magazine!

3 Free Haiku Published

I am happy to share three of my haikus, Winters, Let Go and Taste, are published at Whispers and Echoes Magazine!

A journal of short writing, Whispers and Echoes, much like Nin Chronicles, makes the most of colorless images and lets the writing do the rest. I love the thought and new perspective this inspires!

I am in need of new ways to look at life and to perceive the world. The world is in constant motion around us. People are living their lives and making choices, projecting their feelings and thoughts across our horizons. The little thoughts hidden in the masses are washed out. The little thoughts are what I want to hear and see. I am a lover of the untold stories. I wish to uncover the visible.

In Winters, Let Go, and Taste I seek to challenge the normalcy of winter’s common perception. I write of a seasonal thing in a new way. I give it a reason to be different.

Dare to be different in the ways you write, the ways you challenge what you are told, and even the ways you live.

With Taste, I extend acknowledgement to Luke of The Cask Connoisseur. His lovely, flavorful writing helped inspire this particular haiku. Thank you!

I invite you to enjoy Winters, Let Go, and Taste and perhaps see more than winter in a new way.

Ooh congratulations on getting three haikus published! Love that they are all themed in their own ways. I really like Taste – you can’t go wrong with whiskey that has a woody taste to it. My favorite! I wish it snows out here in LA so I can get a feel for those snowflakes! I don’t think I have ever seen one in person before. Great job on your work!!

I love your haikus, Jaya. It’s always a wonder to me how you can encapsulate so much into just a few lines. My favourite is Taste, it’s such a visual poem, I can smell and taste the whisky too! x

In all three haikus, you have shown the warmth, and positivity about winters, especially where winters are not so mild yet celebrated, lived in, and shared with the loved ones. Bronze winter whisky, summer wine and moonlight in the cups…. wow Jaya you made winters fabulous. Congrats on getting published again:)
