Match Of The Seasons

Match of the Seasons Tanka

A feeble ray of

Sunshine struggles against the

Snow Queen’s cold outmatched

In a clash of the seasons

Winter declares dominance.

This is great, Jaya! I can so feel this especially when it’s been so cold and gloomy for a while then the sun comes out for a bit. I get so happy but in the dead of winter, it only lasts the day then we are back to the cold and gloomy. Thanks for sharing xx

I love how this can be viewed as both the beginnings of Winter and the start of Spring! I’m definitely ready for some rays of sunshine that’s for sure! x

Ooo I love this one! I feel like it perfectly describes the walk I was on yesterday where the sun was poking through the trees and then the cool air seemed to take over.
