Daytime Moon

Daytime Moon Poem

I hear the truth resonate in your voice

It ripples through my flesh and pervades my heart.

I roil in darkness

Threading agony along the thread of my desire

Fitting velvet until it becomes my skin.

My eyes steal moonlight

Silver turns to sun. I regurgitate the

Gold in me.

There is a torn flower petal dying in the sun

Outside my window. I close my eyes and feel its last breath.

This beautiful and luscious write reminds me of the power of our intuitive senses, to see the unseen, to be with nature and each other in ways where language is best left aside. Amazing write, Jaya!

    right on right
    it was worth the fight
    hot to tropic
    and trot
and that is not a damn exageration
    ya face of an angel
    but God says
    fuck it
    no you cannot
    too bad
    so sad
    ciao

Your poem resonates – is the truth persuasive or real? Either way it can be hard to hear.
