Literary Lifestyle: 22 Best Shoes for Writers in 2022

Best Shoes for Writers

In my last post on literary fashion, I included a little section on the best open summer shoes to wear during the hot months. However, that mini section barely touched on many of the best shoes for writers available today.

In this post I go over the best shoes for writers and include everything from fashion sneakers to cute boots. As you read, keep in mind that, although I have linked to the shoes featured in this post, the listings are meant to provide you with inspiration and help illustrate the wide variety of shoe styles available.

The idea of this post is to provide a list of the best shoes for writers that may serve as conversation starters. You will not find everyday sneakers or house slippers on this list. Instead, you will find some classics, such as black pumps, alongside comfortable yet eye-catching walking shoes, stylish heels, and elegant flats. You will find shoes you can wear regularly, shoes you can dress up, and shoes that can support your feet during speaking events or writing conferences.

So, let us dive in and take a look at some of the best shoes for writers available today!

I have to say fashion is really important to writers. LOL. I remember one of the writers I admired as a teenager was very fashionable. She even made her own dress when WWII came and her books were not selling well.
