A gruff attitude

Hides a heart waiting for the

Right person to heal.

Brief but right to he heart of the question. Beautiful short poem, it made me thing of haikus somehow.

I feel like this poem is me right now… I’m just waiting for the right person. It sucks but it’s something that is needed – though, being at home right now to avoid the virus is helping a bit. Makes me want to blame it on that, aha. Maybe that is the same for me right now, as I am emotionally unavailable @__@. Thanks for sharing this piece!

Being at home definitely seems to leave no room for meeting new people but maybe it will bring people closer once they start heading outside again when this ends?
Either way, I do hope you wait to a happy end! 🙂

Honestly, I just opened this and it hit me, deep. ‘Cause you described me, I ain’t gonna lie. Am I waiting for the right person? Maybe, I don’t know. Should I open my heart? Maybe… But I know for sure that there will be a time when all of that gruff attitude will be gone and the walls will be down. Thanks for sharing.

So true! And the photo is breathtaking. I love that it is black and white.

I have had fun sticking to black and white photos. I feel like it lets you add your own color. 🙂

Yes! It takes love from inside and out to open a heart.
