Season’s Duel

Season's Duel Haiku

Spring dances on the

Ribbon held in winter’s hand

Tight she clings to it

But every sunrise it slips

A little further away.

Beautiful analogy. I find as the colder winter weather sets in, I’m also grasping to hold onto that little hope of spring as it slips away

Thank you! Partly inspired by watching two male deer fight under my apple tree.

I like pictures that you are choosing and this black&white coloring! And also putting a big idea in only few words is something very special! Good job!

I sometimes miss the color but I find it is more stimulating to leave it to others to put the color in. 🙂

Oooh, this is a perfect analogy of the days getting longer and winter is slowly closing. I’m still excited for winter to come! You do a great job with these poems – you don’t need to write much but it still paints the entire portrait flawlessly!!
