Month of Love

Month of Love Poem

Push and pull of your delicate rhythms

magnetized to the solar plane of my

existence dance around me

flower petals attracted to night lights.

You move like a ribbon

tantalizingly brief in the

hand of a ballerina

turning at the top of a silver

music box

during the summer Olympics.

Oh this is beautiful. Your words bring imagery to life, and you can feel the gentleness but powerfullness in this one, especially with the twirling ribbon. To twirl a ribbon looks so easy, but so much goes into it behind the scenes…a bit like love!
    Thanks for sharing 🙂

What a gorgeous write, Jaya! It speaks to me of the dance of the sun and nature, most specifically of the flowers, and how during spring, when the sun is bright and warm, they open up to receive the suns rays, a cosmic dance! What an awesome poem!
