Beautiful poem – This really touched me. I’ve been thinking about what changes I want to make next year and the idea that I’m on an axis really resonates with me.

Love the idea of the axis and how there is always a reference point that grounds us! Do you think it’s possible that this axis can shift though? Hmm…

Perhaps an axis cannot shift scientifically, but metaphorically I believe it tips and rebalances. 🙂

I love the imagery here! I think people often feel like no one ever changes – that they’re kind of fixed where they are forever. But in my personal experience, my mindset, beliefs and priorities have tended to evolve over time.

Beautifully said, and evolve is a lovely word for our kind of change. 🙂

Interesting poem. I guess this means knowing where our axis is can be important to staying grounded. Thanks for sharing!

Exactly! But it is also good remember one can be fully grounded in an idea yet still change their mind. 🙂

You have a really unique style of poetry and I really enjoy reading them, have you ever thought of shooting some imagery to go with them?

I am working on shooting imagery; I would like to but have not yet developed the skill or set aside the proper time to do it.
