Forever
I wipe mist from a
Mirror unveiling my soul.
Is it I who stares
Back or a doppleganger
As purple as I am pure?

Very interesting piece! 🙂
It really reminds me of a hologram that i’ve had for decades. It depicts (in 3D, of course) a wise man’s face (as a plaster cast) on the bottom (facing up with the top of the head toward you); in the background (in the neck or chest area of the cast) are embedded fragments of mirrors, each depicting the face at a different angle and viewpoint. 🙂

That sounds like something I would love to see! It sounds like a piece that shows how we all see the same thing differently. Thank you for sharing!

Yes… and it conveys more than that. You would have to see it to understand what i mean.

I love this poem, it’s got such a raw feeling to it that we can all relate to when looking in the mirror

So true as long we don’t have a clear mind everything looks distorted.

It is like wiping mist from a mirror, I think.
