What lives in a dew drop?

What lives in a dew drop?

I asked you to look beyond the horizon

You complied. Stars and sparks lit up your eyes

I planted the moon in your heart and watched it grow

Ivy conveys us to the clouds

I wash my face in yesterday’s dew.

Against my warm palm

I felt the beat of your soul

Resound as a drumbeat born in the deep

It shakes the mountains but

It is the ocean that quivers.
