Oceanic Heart

Oceanic Heart Poem

Rose petal and gemstone lace my tongue

as steam perfumes and pierces the fragile

wet cloth that is skin.

Last fragments of my being

meld; pieces of a rock separated only to

rediscover each other under white wine moonlight.

Sage smoke and pink salt

rise with my reveries. The aftermath

lies in delicate ash.

Woven textile; rogue lip yarn and

cloud ivory. Rough wave

massages my feet. Mermaid kiss

cherry candle. I, lost between

sunset and sunrise drinking down the secrets of your

oceanic heart.
