This really resonated with me. When you are in a certain mindset, it is hard to see things the right way. Kind of reminds me of Birdbox, you know things are bad but you can’t see them. Thanks for sharing this piece!

I don’t know why but that picture combined with those words made me think of all the families in Syria and how many of them quite literally never see the dawn. You write so well, Jaya, thank you for sharing this x
