  1. Lovely words! Tackling tasks with a zest is a great line, and definitely shows the motivation and passion that can come with being eager!

    1. Is this eagerness a positive or negative? And what does it say about me that I think it’s negative, to be all busy hands and feet. Someone needs to chill out a bit and take it easy 😂

  2. Your poems are, as always, fantastic. In these short, simple lines you are able to evoke such strong imagery and emotion! Brevity has never been my strong suit as a writer…I’m jealous! But then in Seventh Street you show that you can keep that same degree of intensity but with longer stanza format. You are an incredibly versatile poet! I look forward to reading what you share next

    1. My heart is full right now with your kind words! Thank you for the encouragement; as long as I tell a story I like to believe I have written something to be proud of. 🙂

  3. Each line complements the other two. Makes me think deep about what I have to do. This haiku is exactly how I have to be this month…and every day for the rest of my life.

  4. I love the way you’ve put your words together. I hadn’t considered the idea of eagerness when it comes to motivation. It’s a term that’s not too intimidating yet encapsulates that desire to achieve a goal.
