Aww this reminds me of myself and two of my friends and how we can sit in silence but still have a lovely time in each others presence. What a lovely poem!

We have some birds of prey near our house who do just this! I always love watching them, they look so free and so graceful. And utterly content. Lovely poem, Jaya, beautifully written, Lisa x

Vultures is where I drew my inspiration from. Three black ones live down my road. 🙂
Birds in general are so pretty. And content is a good way to describe their airborne circling. Thank you!

It’s cool when you can hang out with people and enjoy the silence. You know where you don’t feel like HAVE to talk about something. Just being in their company is enough. Really complex and sweet poem. Certainly one of my favorites by you!

I love how you have interpreted this! There is a lot to be said when you can sit in silence with people and not feel awkward.
Thank you so much for sharing!

Exactly! It’s like an unspoken bond or connection you feel without having to explain it😍

The bird (freedom) and the silence (a different language), two of my favorite topics.
